Bread & Puppet Theater Presents "Diagonal Life: Theory and Praxis"
TWO SHOWS! Sunday, May 12th at 3pm & 6pm
Join us for a very unique performance by Bread and Puppet Theater titled "Diaganol Life: Theory and Praxis".
Diagonals are created from the leaning power of hurt verticals," says Peter Schumann, B&P's founder and director. "The diagonal threatens collapse while always containing the possibility of uprising." Diagonal Life: Theory and Praxis uses the humblest of means -- cardboard landscape, paper maché tigers, lightbulbs, pulleys, Beethovens Great Fugue, Lubberland dancing and the daily news -- to shed light on some of the possibilities inherent in our current collective precarity.
