10th Annual Taste of North Berkeley
Tickets are now on sale for the 10th Annual Taste of North Berkeley, always featuring a great selection of Gourmet Ghetto eateries.This festive restaurant walk will be held from 5- 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 and benefit the Berkeley Public Schools Fund. Together with our April Wine Walk, Taste proceeds will support the Fund as a "Two for the Teachers" fundraising event!
Stroll and sample selections from over 20 participating eateries including Gregoire, Party Sushi, Poulet, The Local Butcher Shop, Saul's Deli, Nico's 1508, Jot Mahal Indian Palace, Victory Point Cafe, Kirala 2, Vitality Bowls, Barney's, Cheesequakes, Agrodolce, plus special tastes at our other businesses - chocolates and free yoga class pass at Yogakula, Baguettes with cheese at ACCI Gallery, mini cupcakes from Cupcakin Bakery (coming soon to the Gourmet Ghetto) at Books, Inc., and Cult Crackers with spreads and made-in-Berkeley Vignette Wine Sodas at M. Lowe & Co. Jewelry!
Tickets are $30 advance, $35 at the door. Pick up your ticket "menu" at our Will Call tent at Vine & Shattuck, then visit our participating restaurants and shops in any order you wish. The menu will have a map, and each also has a sign identifying it as a participant. Each stop will stamp your menu as you go.
This year our non-profit partner is the Berkeley Public Schools Fund, which provides direct classroom grants to teachers across the city. Together with our April Wine Walk, our spring events are "Two for the Teachers", with a portion of the proceeds from both events going to support teachers through the Fund.
