YOUNG FRESH FELLOWS & CARMAIG de FOREST
The (Legendary) Young Fresh Fellows head up this party to celebrate the re-issue of Carmaig de Forest's "I Shall Be Released". The 1987 album produced by Alex Chilton is now available through Omnivore Recordings as "I Shall Be Re-Released", an expanded edition featuring a live EP and bonus tracks.
Carmaig's NW all-star band will feature members of Mudhoney and the (Legendary) Young Fresh Fellows, who MIGHT mark the 30th anniversary of "This Ones For The Ladies" by playing some tracks from the album. Or maybe they'll do a set of Big Star covers?
DJ Thirst 'n' Howl and DJ Dad Jokes on the decks. Slim's (legendary) chili!
