Words Create Worlds: Using Art for Social Change with Caroline Rothstein (An Adult Workshop)
St Paul Jewish Community Center
St Paul, MN
Share this event:

Visiting New York artist, Caroline Rothstein is an internationally touring writer, poet, performer and educator who will be leading the community in workshops and a performance this May. She has been public speaking, performing spoken word poetry and facilitating workshops for over a decade, and has been featured in The New Yorker, Chicago Tribune and Buzzfeed, in addition to being named a very inspiring woman by Lady Gaga.

This class will explore how writing, poetry, and language can be used to help repair the world (tikkun olam). Using spoken word poetry and storytelling as a tool, together we will celebrate our passions and cultivate a deep understanding of how to most effectively and meaningful share that with our communities and the world.
