Friends of SEAMAAC Happy Hour
Please join us at Madame Saitos Headhouse at 122-24 Lombard Street for an informal gathering to show support for SEAMAAC, a Philadelphia non-profit dedicated to serving and supporting immigrants and refugees and other politically, socially and economically marginalized communities, as they seek to advance the condition of their lives in the United States. We envision a society where all people are able to live whole, healthy lives no matter their origin, native language, ethnicity, gender or ability. Come and find out a little more about the important work we do and ways to support it while enjoying the Happy Hour.
The Tokio HeadHouse, home of the original Philadelphia roll and various sushi-making contests, is again located at 122-124 Lombard St. The event is on Wednesday, April 24th from 5:30-8:30pm. Admission is $20 pre-paid online or $25 at the door. This counts as your annual membership dues plus access to the event. There will be live music, appetizers, and an opportunity to meet other engaged Philly professionals. Drink specials from 5:30 to 7:30pm!
Along with the serious work we do, we also enjoy having a good time and building community through our activities (e.g., Voter Registration, Hip Hop Heritage program, Elders Gatherings, and our SoPhiE food Truck to name a few). The Friends of SEAMAAC are a group of folks who support and advocate for social justice, communities of color, and civic engagement. We hope our Friends will benefit from networking with one another as well as connect to SEAMAAC and our mission through involvement in various activities, including occasional Happy Hours!
If you unable to attend or are feeling extra generous, consider making a general donation! Add, 'Additional Program Support' to your cart to give towards our programs.
