Punto Space 325 W. 38th Street Storefront #3 NY, NY 10018
Tickets: $10-20
In honor of Womens History Month, The Anthropologists want to celebrate the contributions of marginalized or hidden women+ with Lecture + Libations: Womens History Edition, a curated evening of storytelling and connection.
Inspired by TED Talks and the image-based presentation style known as PechaKucha, up to ten people will be chosen through an open submission process to give 3-minute presentations on an under-recognized woman+. We will spend the evening celebrating female-identifying and gender non-conforming people whose contributions to womens civil, social or reproductive rights have been excluded or whitewashed. Join us for these mini-lectures, libations and snacks.
