Oliver Ranch Art Tour with the JCC East Bay
Join the JCC East Bay and collector Steve Oliver for a personal tour of his picturesque 100-acre property in the Alexander Valley featuring 18 remarkable site-specific installations by artists including: Andy Goldsworthy, Ann Hamilton, Bruce Nauman, Martin Puryear, and Richard Serra. Learn more by visiting www.oliverranchfoundation.org.
A limited number of tickets are available, so we recommend that you sign up right away! Bus departs promptly at 8:10am. Rain or shine, the tour will be held. Comfortable walking shoes are highly suggested as the 2-3 hour tour covers approximately 2.5 miles with 600 feet of up and down elevation change; it can be likened to a light hike in the woods as the paths are unpaved. Unfortunately, the property is not wheelchair accessible. Following the tour, we will stop at a lovely venue for a catered lunch with local wine.
Tour price includes the private tour of Oliver Ranch, a catered lunch with wine, and chartered bus service to and from the JCC East Bay Berkeley Branch.
Steve Oliver generously makes his ranch available for special tours as a means of increasing philanthropic support for local non-profits. Please consider investing in the JCC East Bay's Ideas and Arts program by purchasing a ticket at the Sponsor level. Sponsors ($500) of the Oliver Ranch Art Tour will help underwrite expenses for the event as well as support this year's Ideas & Arts programs at the JCC East Bay. The tour price is included in the donation.
