LATE NITE ART 17: Urban Adamah

A social art and dining experience in the garden at Urban Adamah Farm in West Berkeley! Featuring Keenan Webster on Kora.

DATE: Thursday August 15th

LOCATION: Urban Adamah Farm, 1050 Parker St Berkeley, CA 94710
TICKETS: $40-$50 (sliding scale) entrance fee includes the workshop, art supplies, and a three-course menu of delicious local dishes courtesy of Grace Hearth.

ABOUT: This will be our first event outdoors! As we will be on an Urban Farm, our theme for this month is "Urban Adamah," translated as urban soil or earth. We will focus on deepening our understanding of food and the natural world that produces it.

LATE NITE ART it is an evening of collaborative art-making, ambient music, to-die-for food and insightful discussion. In a few words, it's a social art experience. LATE NITE ART is a facilitated workshop that encourages you to work in free form. You can expect to meet inspiring people from across the Bay Area, share revolutionary ideas, swirl around some tasty beverages in your mouth, and treat your taste buds to some delicious vegetarian food. LATE NITE ART is an open platform for all non-artists and artists alike to come together. You don't need to be able to color within the lines or draw portraits of fruit bowls - you just need eyes, ears, and an open mind.

Urban Adamah is an educational urban farm and community center in Berkeley, California, that integrates the practices of Jewish tradition, sustainable agriculture, mindfulness and social action to build loving, just and sustainable communities. http://urbanadamah.org/

Mingler: Crostini with Smoked Paprika Butter and Za'atar Hummus

Main and Salad: Buckwheat Crepes with Ricotta Squash Blossom Confit and Nasturtium Creme Fraiche and Crunchy Summer Vegetable Ceviche

Dessert: Bourbon Peaches n' Vanilla Bean Cream Eclairs

Given that we can only accommodate a maximum of 45 people, we require your confirmation in advance to guarantee you a seat.

We ask you to respect the time frame allotted for the event - 7.00PM - 10.30PM. This is an immersive experience that begins and ends with the same amount of people: no tardies and no early departees!
