The Limeliters with Horizon
The Limeliters began performing in 1959 in San Francisco at the famous Hungry I and soon became one of the dominent voices of the early 1960s folk revival. Probably most famous for their "Things Go Better With Coke" while they were the national musical representatives for Coca Cola, they had many top selling albums with RCA.
Time Magazine described the group "If the button down scrubbed looking Kingston Trio were the undergraduates of big-time folk singing, The Limeliters were the faculty.
Their surging vocals, thrilling harmonies and whacked out sense of humor make for a great evening's entertainment.
Opening for the Limeliters are a fabulous folk group Horizon. This group from Sacramento alone would be worth the cost of the ticket.
