FREE 2013 Ride Aboard the Shearwater Classic Schooner - ONE WAY from Liberty State Park to North Cove Marina
Climb aboard the elegant Shearwater Classic Schooner for a one-of-a-kind sightseeing voyage across New York Harbor. Inaugurated in 1929, and recognized as a national landmark in 2009, the Shearwater is a classic Newport-style schooner yacht that offers an exquisite setting for taking in majestic skyline and harbor vistas.
THIS IS A ONE-WAY TRIP FROM LIBERTY STATE PARK TO NORTH COVE MARINA (near the World Financial Center in Lower Manhattan). To return to Liberty State Park, you may take the Liberty Landing Ferry from the World Financial Center Ferry Landing at the end of Vesey Street ($7 for adults, $5 for children--click here for the ferry schedule) or the PATH train from the World Trade Center to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (click here for more information on rail transit to Liberty State Park).
Plan to arrive at Liberty State Park at least 45 minutes before your tour. You will pick up tickets at the ticketing table, located by Liberty Landing Marina. Present your ID or a print out of your reservation confirmation to receive your tickets.
Please arrive at the ticketing table at least 30 minutes before the tour to pick up your tickets.
Tickets not claimed 15 minutes before the tour may be given to those in the standby line.
