Kenny Neal Band in Concert

The Neal family is synonymous with the blues in South Louisiana. His father, Raful Neal, was a bluesman, as are most of his brothers. Kenny followed in the footsteps of his father as well as another mentor, the great Buddy Guy. Kenny's swamp blues career has garnered Grammy Nominations and has taken his career worldwide. For many years Kenny's home base was in California. A few years ago he moved back to our area, but almost seldom plays solo gigs anywhere nearby. When folks have wanted to catch his show, they either have to catch a festival or an uncomfortable bar show when he joins family members. We have longed for Kenny and his band to join us for a "sit down" show at the Red Dragon. We finally made it happen on Thursday, May 23......the night before he leaves to tour in France! This will be a full band show and will be opened by Kenny's good friend, 94 year old blues piano legend Henry Gray. Reg seats are $50, VIPs are $65 and the online ticket link is
