Our 10th anniversary and Hair's 50th Anniversary!!!
The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical is a rock musical with a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot. A product of the hippie counterculture and sexual revolution of the late 1960s, several of its songs became anthems of the anti-Vietnam War peace movement.
In the current political atmosphere, with homelessness, anti-vax, building walls and more, Hair is as poignant as it was for the anti-war movement. It is anti-establishment not just for arguement sake but to stand up for what you believe in.
