For the love of scent: cold process soap making workshop

Do you have super sensitive skin, love artisanal soap, or have a specific creation youd like to try out? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to make your own, customized soap in your own kitchen? Many commercial soaps contain cheap perfume & synthetic detergents that can be harsh on sensitive skin and terrible for the environment. Come learn to make your own soap, customize it for your needs, and get all the details youll need to create all natural aromatheraputic bars.

In this 4 hour class we will learn safety, the basics of making cold process botanical soap, blend our own essential oil scents for the bars, and go over ingredient benefits and methods of creating a bar of soap you can truly delight in. Since making soap from scratch involves working with lye (sodium hydroxide) all soap makers attempting this technique be 18 years or older, or be very closely supervised by an adult.

She runs a community oriented brick and mortar shop with a full line of in-house made bath products and well as hand crafted ritual and home adornments.
