7 Day Writing Your Life for the Page, Stage and Life
Join award-winning writer/performer Ann Randolph for 7 days of writing and creating in the Yukon.

This is a perfect retreat for those seeking to explore memoir, personal essay, solo performance, and self expression in a spectacular setting.

"Ann is a Master Teacher and Performer." Alanis Morissette

This is an invitation for you to discover your own unique and powerful story and the profound transformation that occurs when speaking it out loud. You'll learn to trust your creative impulses, embracing all of who you are.  By becoming the author of your own life and learning how to tell your own story, you will not only learn to craft your experience into a compelling narrative but you will also unleash a sense of purpose in your own life you never thought possible.

Through writing exercises, group discussion, and improvisation we  will support one another in creating and speaking our stories.

Writing exercises to stimulate memory
Learning to structure the narrative in a compelling way
Discovering ways to create spontaneously
Overcoming performance anxiety
Tools to release yourself from the inner critic
Transforming your ideas/stories into performance

In addition to meeting daily for class, we will culminate the week with a student performance in downtown Whitehorse.

Saturday August 10th we begin at 6:30pm
Sunday, Monday, 9-1 and 3-5pm
Tuesday 9-1pm
2pm-6pm. Group adventure in the wild
Wednesday 9-1 and 3-5pm
Thursday  begins at 9am-1pm.  Lunch Break.  Resume at 3pm-6pm. Dinner Break. Performance at 8pm and ends at 10:30pm.
