Warrior Chorus - Citizen Soldier
Join the Warrior Chorus as they present scenes from ancient works alongside modern works by veterans and those within the veteran community. Themes and works explored will be: what it means to come home from war and Homer's ODYSSEY; the effects of war on civilians who are forced to flee their homes and Aeschylus' SUPPLIANTS; thoughts on Democracy and the work of Thucydides. The Warrior Chorus is a national public program run by Aquila Theatre and supported in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and New York State Council for the Arts.
Admission is free and open to the public.
