Rogers & Butler: Alone & Together
Rogers & Butler - Edward Rogers (lead vocals) and Stephen Butler (lead vocals, guitar) - will be joined by Don Piper (guitar) for their debut show at Pangea. They will be performing songs from their extensive and respective catalogs, as well as songs from their just-released debut EP, Diana Dors, including the title track, Diana Dors, Seven Hour Man, Witness Tree and Possibilities. Also, expect some surprises from Rogers & Butler!
Edward Rogers and Stephen Butler are both Zip Records artists. When they first met, they bonded over a mutual love and respect for British singer-songwriter, Duncan Browne. Rogers & Butlers friendship turned into a song-writing relationship, resulting in the duos debut EP, Diana Dors, which was released by Zip Records on February 8, 2019. Rogers is a British-born, NYC-based singer/songwriter with seven solo albums and has been compared to Ray Davies and Kevin Ayers in his singing and songwriting style. Butler is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter, who was discovered by Hilly Kristal, owner of CBGBs. He a founding member of Smash Palace and has recorded 12 records.
