Avenue Q
The Costa Mesa Playhouse presents the Tony Award-winning, puppet-filled musical Avenue Q, running March 22 through April 21.
Filled with gut-busting humor and a delightfully catchy score, not to mention puppets, Avenue Q is a truly unique show that has become a favorite for audiences everywhere. Although the show addresses humorous adult issues, it is similar to a beloved children's show; a place where puppets are friends, Monsters are good and life lessons are learned. Not appropriate for young children. Avenue Q is directed by Scott Silson, puppet master at Disney Parks & Resorts, and musical directed by Briana Harley.
The March 22 performance is a preview for which all seats are pay what you will. March 22 is the opening night Gala, which includes a post-show reception. Gala tickets are $25 general and $23 for students and seniors. For all other performances, tickets are $22 general and $20 for students and seniors. Performances are Fridays & Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Reservations can be made at www.costamesaplayhouse.com or by calling 949-650-5269. The playhouse is located at 661 Hamilton Street in Costa Mesa.
