"Midnight Cowboy"
An Academy Award winner for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay of 1969, Midnight Cowboy is a tale of two unlikely friends. Joe Buck, a naive Texas dishwasher (Jon Voight), heads to New York to seek his fortune, where he meets up with Ratso Rizzo, a small-time con man (Dustin Hoffman). These two broken individuals form a close bond as they spend a year together, navigating the seamy underside of the big city. Midnight Cowboy features a star-making performance by Voight, and Dustin Hoffman, plays a character miles away from his role in The Graduate.
