JUDY AT THE STONEWALL
In JUDY AT THE STONEWALL, drag artist Gloria Swansong presents her tribute to the legend of legends: Judy Garland with special guest Maxie Factor! In this 90-minute entirely lip synced performance, Ms. Swansong becomes Judy at the height of her stardom. From 'Live at Carnegie Hall' to 'A Star is Born' to 'The Judy Garland Show', Judys life unfolds through song, dance and costume in what were her most joyous, iconic and sometimes painful performances
Ms. Factor, NYC's 60's 'It' Girl, serves up the best of 1963 in vignette interludes that range from Motown to movie musicals - with an *extra* special celebrity surprise for the finale!
JUDY AT THE STONEWALL will have ONE performance, March 23 at 7:00pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. The Stonewall Inn is located at 53 Christopher Street New York, NY 10014. There is a two-drink minimum per person, and all patrons must be 21 or over.
Presented at the National Historic Landmark STONEWALL INN, this performance coincides with the month of Judy Garland's birthday and her death. The Stonewall Riots of 1969 are largely cited as the spark of the LGBTQ rights movement. Judy's death, June 22 1969, is seen as integral to the Stonewall Riots.
