2013 Green Building Slam

The excitement is already building, and we are expecting a full house at this year's Green Building Slam at Kane Hall! Will you be one of the 250+ raving fans in attendance? Our Master of Ceremonies will be Roger Faris, best known in Seattle for his popular home repair advice segment on KUOW Public Radio and his home-repair column for the Seattle Press.

Your favorite Seattle area architects and builders will be showcasing their deep green construction projects as they quickly show you behind the scenes accounts of their successes, lessons, or surprises with each 10 minute, 10 slide PowerPoint presentation. Cheer them on in this informal celebration of their significant achievements.

Delicious appetizers will be provided by Twelve Baskets Catering.  A fabulous raffle prize will be given away to one very lucky winner.  Local Seattle merchants will be donating their services and products with your "green" needs in mind. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the event for $2 each. Drink tickets may be purchased for $2 each.

Convenient parking available at the UW Central Plaza Garage on 15th Ave NE and 41st Street. If you park on the C-1, C-3 or C-5 levels, and park toward the NE corner of the garage, signs will direct you to Kane Hall, and the access to the elevator.

Schedule:
5:00 p.m. - Registration, Drinks & Appetizers, Networking
6:30 p.m. - SLAM begins (15 minute intermission around 7:45 p.m.)
9:00 p.m. - Networking, Dessert & Coffee
