Meet Our Grantee: Young Voices Luncheon
One of the ways that WFRI advances gender equity in Rhode Island is through grant making. We'd love for you to meet some of the organizations we've supported through grants to hear about the important work they are doing. We plan to host semi-monthly luncheons with our grantees throughout 2019. These lunches will be free of charge.
This month, we will be learning about Young Voices and their #RaiseOurVoices initiative, which gives low income girls of color tools to advocate for change within the public school system. Participants will have a chance to speak with program officers and youth participants who are making a difference for women in our community.
