Capturing Fire Press releases "Infinity Standing Up"
Capturing Fire Press releases  "Infinity Standing Up," a new collection of sonnets by Drew Pisarra. featuring a reading by the author himself as well as poet-scholar Mare Davis.

"'Infinity Standing Up' tells the messy, rowdy, off-again/on-again story of a passionate love affair in the form of 40 sonnets."
from the Foreword, "Infinity Standing Up"
                          - Mare Davis, Ph. D.

"A stunning collection of unique and eclectic observations of modern love which Im sure Shakespeare himself would be pleased to see is holding a mirror up to life. If Wes Anderson and Miranda July had a Queer love-child, theyd write like this."
                           - Anna Girvan,
Creative Fellow with the Royal Shakespeare Company

                               About The Author
Aside from his work as a poet (which includes the chapbooks "Untitled & Other Poems" and "Religion, Anatomy, Catastrophe," Drew Pisarra once toured his monologues "Queer Notions", "Fickle", and "The Gospel According to Saint Genet" around the country and even had a ventriloquist act, "Singularly Grotesque," commissioned by the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, but has since retired from the world of dummies. His short story collection "Publick Spanking" was published by Future Tense. More recently, as part of the installation art duo, Saint Flashlight (with Molly Gross), hes been finding inventive ways to get poetry into public spaces.
