HALF DAY, July 22nd - 26th (1:30pm - 4:30pm)
Artists have been using photography as a way to tell stories since its inception. This class explores that history as well as how we can use modern digital photography and imaging as a storytelling medium. Over the course we will be looking at how light, color and composition can affect moods, how to create an effective series of photos, and learning to use our own narrative voice.

Explore Seattle with a 35mm SLR in hand to capture candid moments, street scenes, graffiti art and more as you shoot on-location and build your portfolio. Process and develop your own film, print photos in the darkroom and engage in meaningful critique with other photographers to improve your work.
