Alex City Arts Presents THE CHARLESTONES
The Charlestones performed their inaugural concert in July 2014 and have been harmonizing throughout the Southeast frequently since then, including performances in the states of South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. A professional male a cappella vocal quartet consisting of Todd Monsell (bass), Brink Norton (tenor), William Purcell (lead) and Stephen Spaulding (baritone), The Charlestones have performed at such varied venues as Second Sunday on King Street (Charleston), Charleston Christmas Tree Lighting, Tuesdays Music Live (Augusta, GA), VA Hospital Memorial Day Ceremony, Music at First (Wilmington, NC), Fine Arts Series at Palms Presbyterian (Jacksonville Beach, FL), Lowcountry Live, and Piccolo Spoleto (2015-2018). Before relocating to Charleston, Norton spent several years teaching music in the Alexander City school system and singing in the First Presbyterian Church choir. The Charlestones first album is entitled Holy City Harmony.
