Punk rock, roots rock, alt country and folk music......Alejandro Escovedo is among the kings of Texas music. Alejandro bean his big league music career in San Francisco with the punk rock band THE NUNS. A move to Austin, Texas saw the foundation of the legendary TRUE BELIEVERS with Dragon friend JON DEE GRAHAM. Incredible solo albums and records with RYAN ADAMS & WHISKEYTOWN increased his profile so much that No Depression Magazine named him "Artist of the Decade" (1990s). Alejandro is currently touring in support of his critically acclaimed new album "The Crossing".
