Handmade Hallmarks: Making Paper & Crafting Cards
Join us at the Whatcom Museum Saturday, February 9, 10am - noon for a special Valentine's Day workshop. Local artist Ruth San Pietro will demonstrate how to turn old paper from trash to treasure by recycling it into 3-D art. After learning about the paper-making process, each participant will have the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind, 3-D recycled paper Valentine card for that special someone. After all, the best Valentines are the ones that come from the heart! Workshop materials fee is $15 for members, $20 for non-members.
"Because the Whatcom Museum is a non-profit and this event is a fund raiser (with hard costs to the Museum Foundation), we are not able to provide refunds."
