King Street Productions is proud to present: the Jillian McKenna Project.
With an interesting roster of musicians, the well established Juno-award winning pianist Adrean Farugia is alongside the rapidly up and coming 24 year old Toronto-based drummer Mackenzie Read, and led by Hamilton-born, New York City-studied bassist Jillian McKenna, often using her vioce as a second instrument.
With three distinct musical voices continuously pushing the boundaries of what can be accomplished in a trio setting, this band is blurring genres and just beginning to find its very own sound in the jazz world.
