Come join us and Tommy Gomes from Catalina Offshore Products at BIGA for an unforgettable night, where we celebrate our amazingly dedicated local fishermen and their families with an exquisite four-course meal, prepared by BIGA's talented culinary team along with a local guest chef that also practices sustainable dining. Our signature preparation at BIGA includes our unique woodfired ovens, fueled by local, organic firewood, providing an extra layer of explosive flavor.
BIGA's Chef de Cuisine, Carlos Rodriguez, along with this dinner's guest chef Johnny Dolan of The Lion's Share, will choose the freshest local ingredients, including the tastiest catch of the season from Catalina Offshore's impressive catalog of sustainable seafood (caught right in our own waters) and locally farmed organic fruits and vegetables. Not only has Chef Carlos been highly acclaimed for his work at BIGA, but his impeccable reputation precedes him at for his tenure at Hillcrest's Trust. Chef Johnny's southern flair comes out through many of his dishes at his downtown hotspot, providing him with a unique flavor palette that local diners absolutely love.
Our guest fisherman will be Kelly Fukushima! With his 20+ years of sustainable fishing (mostly swordfish, shark and tuna), he has tons of true-life stories to share with our group. His entire family is dedicated to fishing and one of the things that makes him so special is his use of technology to fish as sustainably as possible. He and his family also operate Tuna Harbor's Loaf and Fish at the Dockside Market, where you can get salads, sandwiches or tacos made with the freshest fish of the day.
Tickets are $100 per person or $115 per person with wine pairing. Space is limited and we are expecting these tickets to sell out fast so don't hesitate to save your spot right today!
