Slow Food Cantonese Chinese Dinner
China Gourmet, located in Northeast Philly, home to the city's largest population of native-born Chinese, is an authentic Chinese restaurant, under the thoughtful guidance of co-owners Salina Ko & Ming Fung who is a talented chef-owner, a veteran of Chinatown's Tai Lake and Ocean Harbor, who has assembled a skilled kitchen staff of 20 putting out dim-sum and a full a la carte menu. This rare find has received excellent reviews. They will prepare this special Slow Food menu for us;
Assorted appetizers including cured beef, baby cuttle fish, fried taro pork hock, fresh shrimp 2 styles, plus Stir fried scallop & shrimp w/ veggies, crab meat & fish maw soup, braised mushrooms & sea cucumber in abalone sauce, King mushroom with beef, Peking Duck, Fried flounder in 2 styles, Fried rice Noodles in abalone sauce, dessert & fruit
