Get in on the first Field Trip of 2019! Join us for the premiere of From Behind the Sun, a play based on the true story of playwright Stanley Kippers fathers experiences trying to buy a home in Minneapolis and encountering the barriers of red-lining. We will meet at 5:00 for Happy Hour at a nearby establishment to get to know each other. Our group will then head over to the Whitney Fine Arts Theater on the campus of Minneapolis Community College and Metropolitan State University, less than a 10-minute walk away, where our group will have a special opportunity to hear how the play evolved and ask questions before the main audience arrives. The play begins at 7:00.
