In June 2017, after the success of the Thousand Islands Playhouse's production of Rick Miller's brilliant play BOOM, Rick gave a final mesmerizing, high-energy performance at the Royal as a kind of farewell to his friends and fans here in Gan.
This year, Rick is opening TIPs 2019 season with his sequel to BOOM, called BOOM X, and were excited that hes agreed to another farewell show at the Royal!
Rick will perform from his just-released compilation CD "Songs from BOOM X (And Other Shows), drawing from his 25-year career, and featuring an eclectic mix of styles, over 100 voices and imitations, and a ton of humour and humanity.
