StorySlam Oakland: BREAKUPS

StorySlam Oakland is a different kind of storytelling show, designed to make it easy to meet people and hear and tell true stories. There's lots of interaction, free drinks for storytellers, and the audience gets to vote on the best open-mic story of the night. Professional storytellers will complement the open-mic stories from the audience.

THEME: BREAKUPS.

Put your name in the hat for a chance to tell your true story of five minutes (or less) on the theme: Breakups. No reading or notes allowed. Tell it from memory or just wing it! You'll hear a bell to let you know when you must wrap it up.

And at StorySlam, our open-mic tellers win a FREE DRINK ticket just for getting up there and telling a story. It's a lively competition, and a fun night for storytellers and listeners alike.

Stories begin: 7:00 PM
1 intermission.

Seats are first-come, first serve.
