East Bay Eats, formerly Sunday Suppers, brings community together to raise money for different non-profit organizations working in the East Bay. Every other month, we'll be hosting a family-style, community dinner at some of the area's most beloved restaurants. Join us to Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is!|
To date, our work has raised over $275K for a variety of incredible organizations. We did not want to let this successful event series come to an end; East Bay Eats is a new incarnation of these fundraising dinners, unaffiliated with Charlie Hallowell's restaurant group.
Join us July 21st at Boot & Shoe Service, to support the incredible work of East Point Peace Academy, a grassroots organization doing its part to create a culture of peace through training, education, and hands-on practice in the arts of nonviolence and conflict reconciliation. We are grounded in the tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, and work with incarcerated populations, youth, activists and community leaders dedicated to the building up of a society that works for all.
Representatives from East Point Peace Academy will share information about their work, and we will be raising additional funds at the event for the organization. A signature cocktail may be ordered throughout the night at the cash bar - 100% of the proceeds will also be donated to the organization.
Tickets cost $60-100 per person, wine included, for a multicourse, prix-fixe meal.
