Little Sparta Saturdays 2019
IMPORTANT NOTICE, on the advice of the UK Health & Safety Executive
To reach Little Sparta visitors walk about half a mile (700 metres)on a farm track across unfenced farm land. Animals, usually cattle and / or sheep graze on this land at all times of the day. On a very few occasions there may be a bull in the field too! Please call Laura Robertson on 07826 495677 if you want to discuss access.

In 2019 Little Sparta will be open to the public on Saturday afternoons between 12.30pm and 5 pm (last admission 4 pm).
Minibus transport will be available on certain Saturdays throughout the season:
1 June, 6 July, 3,10,17,24, 31 August and 7 September.
The bus will depart from the Scottish Poetry Library at 11.30 am. The return trip will depart from the Little Sparta car park at 3.30 pm.
There is no cafe at Little Sparta, so if you are coming for the day remember to bring a packed lunch. Bottled water is available from reception.
