Southeast Stonewall 2013 Festival Concert
The Southeast Stonewall Music Festival celebrates the arts in the LGBT community. Its anchoring event is a fundraising performance by the festival orchestra -- a full symphonic orchestra made up of members of the Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra as well as professional, adult amateur, and high school musicians who have come together specifically for this concert.
Amy Wilson conducts the inaugural program of orchestra favorites, including: - Bacchanale from Saint-Saens' "Samson and Dalila" - Copland's Hoedown - Mendelssohn's Wedding March - Brahms' Hungarian Dances - Adagio from Mozart's clarinet concerto - Tchaikovsky waltzes - and more
Box office opens at 3:30 p.m. General admission seating begins at 3:45 p.m.
A portion of all proceeds benefits CHRIS Kids and LGBT arts organizations.
