Aeropuerto, USA, Improv Jones Boston
Aeropuerto, Boston, MA, is a group of veteran improvisers, stand-ups, and sketch comedians who conspire to create a fun, high-energy longform show using nothing but an audience suggestion and a guest monologist. They've presented the "Aeromondo" at the Del Close Marathon (NYC), Portland Improv Festival (Maine), and the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, and can be seen most Fridays at ImprovBoston's STUDIO 40."
Performing a long-form ""Aeromondo"", a loose and high-energy Armando. We begin with a guest monologue; a run of scenes, tag-outs and group games inspired by the monologue; a second, short monologue; then a series of callbacks and extensions of the first half. We focus on sharp edits, high stakes and punchy offers. Everyone in the room has fun for 20-30 minutes.

Improv Jones Boston, begins by asking the audience for advice, some aphorism to help brighten our spirits and help us overcome our obstacles. We then create a rich, detailed environment full of imagery, emotion, and backstory. We then spend our time exploring the characters, relationships, and experiences that fill this fixed environment with life, love, and intrigue over the span of one continuous scene in real time. As the scene unfolds, the characters discover the wisdom and the true meaning of the advice that inspired the story.
