Join community herbalist Missy Rohs of the Arctos School for a day of first aid skills and herbal allies. Well start out with learning the most important assessment tools to use if youre the first person on the scene in a medical emergency. Together, well practice them and talk about the different options available to us in emergent situations. For the second half of the class, well focus on first aid kits, honing in on herbal remedies that are useful in first aid situations. At the end of the class, students will feel more comfortable stepping up in medical emergencies and more knowledgeable about healing plant allies.
This class is open to all levels of knowledge; no prerequisites are required.
Class held in SE Portland. Registration required by March 4.
