RiseUP 2019

eXit SPACE offers an exclusive program for dancers who are ready to seriously focus on their dance training and future. The Pre-Professional Program is a curriculum-based program designed for the dedicated dance student. In 2018-19 eXit SPACE selected 31 dancers to join thePROGRAM.

PROGRAM dancers are trained in multiple disciplines including ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, and musical theater. Co-directors, Marlo Martin and Karen Baskett, have designed thePROGRAM curriculum and requirements in order to provide young dancers with an opportunity to delve into multiple facets of dance; commercial dance, concert dance, theater dance, choreography, and more. Now in its sixth season thePROGRAM is at the forefront of pre-professional dance training programs in the Pacific Northwest. Martin and Baskett are proud of the development within thePROGRAM and continue to raise the bar each season in terms of expectations, opportunity, training, creative development, and performance training.

Students enter thePROGRAM as dancers and leave as artists.
