Mike Schuil: "TIME IN A BOTTLE" CD Release Concert

A very personal tribute to and the reworking of 60s/70s singer songwriters with great vocals and spectacular piano arrangements.

The 60s and 70s offered fertile ground for the rise of the
singer/songwriter, when songs filled with deeply personal confessions, poetic invention, surreal imagery, pointed social comment, and achingly romantic flights of fantasy could be heard all over the radio. Singer Mike Schuil on his new recording, TIME IN A BOTTLE, revisits and reinvents some of his favorites from that time, including songs by Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Webb, Paul Simon, Cat Stevens and more. Come celebrate the CD release at a special one-night concert at Pangea and hear some great songs in fresh, new ways - and pick up a CD hot off the presses! Brilliant music director, arranger, pianist Wells Hanley offers stellar support in the show, directed by Bistro Award winner, Gerry Geddes.
