Restorative Yoga with Therapeutic Assists

Join us for a morning of restorative yoga and therapeutic hands-on-assists at the beautiful Beetroot Sauvage.

Kat and Jane are delighted to offer "Round 3" of this 2 hour workshop to relax, unwind and replenish. Our intent is to provide a space to take some time out, rest, slow down and just breathe.

The yoga practice will be slow, gentle, nourishing and accessible for all. The practice will be complimented by Jane's loving touch, to support the body to release and recover by settling our nervous systems and flooding our bodies with happy hormones.

Whether you are new to yoga or new to restorative, everyone is welcome. The yoga will be suitable for beginners and more experienced students, people with injuries or chronic health issues and folks who are older. So as long as you've got a body, and you would enjoy being supported to work with movement, breath, and touch...come along!

About your teachers:

Kat is a yoga teacher who is passionate about yoga for all - she loves to teach simple, gentle movement and easeful breath to students to encourage relaxation and rejuvenation. She has been offering restorative workshops over Edinburgh for the last year and is looking forward to joining forces with Jane to provide a deeply nourishing and soothing practice.

Jane is a Forrest Yoga Teacher, a bodyworker (massage therapist) and a doula in-the-making. Jane's intent for this workshop is to provide compassionate touch to support people to reconnect with their bodies, breathe and release tension. Trained in various massage techniques, Jane loves to use touch to support healing.

Additional Information:

If this is your first time attending a yoga workshop and you are unsure of the process, please be sure to reach out to us and we can talk you through the format. This workshop will be relaxed and welcoming, and there is lots of space in the studio to get settled and comfortable.
Touch - This workshop is offering hands-on assists alongside our yoga practice, however if you would prefer not to be assisted then you are still very welcome - just reach out to Kat or Jane to let them know.

About Beetroot Sauvage:

The Wellness Centre at Beetroot Sauvage is comprised of a lovely bright studio with heated floors, lots of pillows and blocks to allow alterations to be made for individual bodies, and plenty of space to get changed and settled before your workshop. Downstairs is the wonderful Beetroot Sauvage vegan cafe, so you are welcome to stay for a delicious and nutritious lunch or coffee after your workshop, to continue your day of nourishment.
