Natasha Carlitz Dance Ensemble presents "Metamorphoses"
In a colourful, energetic, and intellectually stimulating evening of dance, the Natasha Carlitz Dance Ensemble's new program "Metamorphoses" addresses two questions: "What happens when you set the same dance to various scores?" and "How do different choreographers respond to a single piece of music?" Presenting the works of six choreographers and six commissioned composers (one of whom will perform live with the dancers), this concert will satisfy your curiosity about how music and dance work together as well as your aesthetic sense, as each theme goes through permutations from bold and humourous to thoughtful and introspective.
Featuring new musical compositions by: Paul Clothier Mike Coffin Fabio Mittino Christiaan Royer Kate Stenberg Luiz-Otávio Z Zorzella ...and one not so new by Ludwig van Beethoven
