MY ASIAN MOM 2.0.1.3
MY ASIAN MOM 2.0.1.3 is A-Squared Theatre Workshop's follow up to last year's hit show My Asian Mom. Originally conceived by Mia Park, this year's show has brand new material. MY ASIAN MOM 2.0.1.3 is made up of eight 10 minute one act pieces inspired by Asian motherhood. It is a celebration of Asian Moms in all their glory!
The show consists of material written by Asian American writers from all over the country, featuring Kathy Hsieh, Christine Toy Johnson, Melisa Tien, Conrad Panganiban, Larry Leopoldo, Lani T. Montreal, Fin Coe and Damon Chua. The lead director for MY ASIAN MOM 2.0.1.3 is Jin Kim. Directors include Giau Troung, Cary Shoda, Christine Bunuan, Ginger Leopoldo, Marc Rita, and Joe Yau. MY ASIAN MOM 2.0.1.3 will run June 21, 2013 through July 20, 2013, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm at the Den Theater Studio 2A, 1333 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622. Tickets prices are $15.00 general admission, with an additional $1.00 fee per ticket for credit card transactions at the door.

A-Squared Theatre Workshop is Chicago based collective that creates an artistic environment of risk taking and growth for Asian American theater artists by dynamically bringing Asian American stories to the stage for general theater-going audiences. A-Squared Theatre Workshop is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit theatre company formed in 2006.
