The Static Channel - 2019 Asheville Fringe Arts Festival
The Static Channel is the 3rd tragicomic stage play in 3 years from local upsetters, Down With Pants, penned by comedian Corr de Joch with vital collaboration from the DWP creative activationist performance collective. Stage-As-Television, repurposed here as involuntary conduit of finally-voiced subtexts and maieutic birthing volcano for tools that can dismantle the masters house. Expect awkward cackling, participatory assumption-erosion, some growing pains, gobbets of raving euphoria, & self-assigned homework.
