This workshop is open to all levels and it will provide the actor with the skills necessary to create new work.
The Workshop will focus on:
Quality of movement based on the Laban Technique
Movement Improvisation followed by text
Text analysis through movement (with extract from original work written by Charon)
Partnering work
Devising: create a story through images and words.
About the Artist:
Charon is a versatile performer, playwright and movement artist. She recently performed in the World Premiere of Food For The Gods at the renowned La Mama E.T.C. Theatre in New York City. Her work as playwright and movement artist has been produced in London and New York City. She is currently leading workshops in Physical Theatre and Devising for artists who wish to learn new skills and create new work. Charon is currently developing a new show.
