A little bit about Neil: "After starting my adventure in the music business in 1994 with a pair of turntables and a crate of hip-hop records, I eventually enrolled at Shoreline Community College to study Digital Audio. I learned a lot but more importantly I met two friends who had a profound influence on my life. We became creative partners, business partners, and are forever linked by our time together. Within a few months wed left school and opened Numeriklab, our music production and publishing company. We wrote music and designed sound effects for casual video games, sharpening our skills and establishing a foothold in an industry we were still learning about. With a combination of determination, ambition, and a sprinkle of good fortune we found ourselves writing the theme song to what would eventually become the most popular drama on television. That was 16 years ago!
About 5 years ago I made a career transition from the music industry to manufacturing. Im now a Manufacturing Quality Manager at Precor. I often refer back to my time with Numeriklab, where we experienced dramatic highs and the inevitable lows. I learned so much about music, business, partnerships, and life. Sometimes those lessons arent apparent until you have a chance to consider and share them in retrospect, which Im looking forward to doing with all of you."
