Enjoy the contagious music of Northeastern Brazil. Featuring live performances, special guests, Brazilian snacks. This party will bring you into the universe of Baião, Xaxado, Xote, Rastapé, Maracatu and much more.
Discover a new Cultural jam in Toronto!!

The band is formed by local musicians from the Brazilian community coming together to perform at PROJETO FORRÓBODÓ. Inspired by traditional rhythms of the Northeastern of Brasil. Experience different facets of Forró, It's music and it's culture.

Enjoy a whole afternoon of Forroó music and culture. Get warm dancing and trying some Brazilian food.
Kids are also welcome.
Intro Forró dance class, will take place before the live show. Take advantage to interact, meet new people and dance the night away!
Here some words from our dance instructor, Rita:
Just open your mind and your heart to another culture.
Forró is as important and relevant for Brazil as samba. It is the most playing and dancing style in Brazil. It's the perfect representation of how Brazil was built! There are Portuguese influences, aborigines, and African influences too... It's a beautiful and fun music style. The dance is very social and easy to learn... U really don't need to know the music to enjoy!!! Most of my students are not Brazilian, and a big part of the people who go to Forró parties are not Brazilian and don't know the kind of music.
Just give a chance and try, We know that u will fall in love too.
