Latino One Act Festival 2013
TEATRO ESPEJO'S ANNUAL ONE ACT FESTIVAL

Teatro Espejo begins its' first annual one act festival featuring four short plays directed by four creative directors.  There will be two one acts presented each night alternatively. Shows run Thursday through Sunday.

LA VIRGEN SHOW written by Juan Antonio Ramos, directed by Noemi C. Rios.  La Virgen hosts her own talk show with such celebrities as Maria Felix, Dolores Del Rio, Frida Kahlo, and La Llorona. Performs with Movimiento, Monologues Y Mas on July 11, 13, 19, 21, 25, 27 and August 2 and 4.

"BERNABE' written by Luis Valdez, directed by Jose Perales.   A popular, cosmic tragedy that deals with the relationship between a mentally challenged, young farmworker and the earth who appears to him as "La Tierra". Performs with Los Ultimos Anos De Friday on July 12, 14, 18, 20, 26, 28, August 1 and 3.

"LOS ULTIMOS ANOS DE FRIDA" written by Ruben Amavizca Murua, directed by Diana Mandujano.  This play focuses on the last and most productive years of Frida Kahlo's life. Performs with Barnabe on July 12, 14, 18, 20, 26, 28, August 1 and 3.

"MOVIMIENTO MONOLOGUES Y MAS" written and directed by Yaya Porras.  This collective improvisational work encompasses the many works of the Chicano Teatro movement into one performance of reflection, testimony, lagrimas, y laughter.
Performs with La Virgin Show on July 11, 13, 19, 21, 25, 27 and August 2 and 4.
