New Play Cafe Presents Simply Sci-Fi: Plays performed at the Big Kitchen
Performances: Thursdays & Fridays August 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, all @ 7:30 p.m.
Featuring new 10-minute science fiction plays, by San Diego playwrights
New Play Cafe and The Big Kitchen present Simply Sci-Fi, featuring short plays by local playwrights, served up with dessert and coffee, at The Big Kitchen. Plays will be performed simultaneously in two of The Big Kitchen's three dining areas and then rotated so that audience members can see all plays.
Simply Sci-Fi is the second production to take place at the Big Kitchen; The Coffee Shop Chronicles played to sold out houses and critical success in May 2013, including an added performance to satisfy audience demand.
The cost for dessert and theatre is $30, but if you buy your tickets in advance they are only $20!
