Video Game Law: for Artists, Developers and Players
Join attorney William Rava for a discussion of the important legal issues facing video game artists, content developers, and gamers. William will discuss a variety of issues including: the legal rights of artists, developers and players and how to protect them; intellectual property rights involved in the creation and marketing of video games; steps creators of video games need to take to protect themselves in the process of marketing and distributing their games. Additional topics will include First Amendment protections regarding indecent game content; new developments in gaming industry law, and the possible impact these will have on the creators and developers of video games. Finally, William discusses the prospect of government regulation of video games, and the impact this would have on the industry, and on gamers. Bring your questions.
