Robotic Hand (kids ages 7+)
Come visit the first makerspace in the Capital District and learn about robotics projects you can do yourself. Many robotics labs use everyday materials to build their prototypes quickly and cheaply. See projects from the book "Robotics: Discover the Science and Technology of the Future" inspired by actual robotics research that use only crafts supplies, household items, and recycled electronics. All participants will make a working Robot Hand out of cardboard and string to take home. For kids ages 7 and up.
